I can’t write certain letters if I think about them

just looked up what an umbrella means as a literary symbol
I still don't know what it means

my leg is chopped off

I am in an ambulance being taken to the nearest
professional who can reattach my leg

I can walk again
but not as well as before
It is raining and I am walking home in the rain,
slower than I would've walked
before my near fatal leg injury

I am home and I am drenched in rain water
the weight of my clothes reminds me that I am light

It is night time and I am staring at the string
that is keeping the two halves of my leg together
I pull the string and I bleed a little
the string is blue because I got to pick the color

I tie the string around your finger
and I forget that I felt pain earlier today
